Madison College has been acknowledged by the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge as a 2024 Most Engaged Campus for College Student Voting. The college's fall 2024 voter education campaign included candidate forums, civic engagement activities, and information on redistricting.

Scarlet Martino, Madison College Student Program Advisor, credited the award to the continuous availability of voter information on campus. "Madison College is committed to promoting civic engagement and empowering students through voting and political participation," Martino stated. "Healthy democracies thrive on informed and engaged citizens, and we are proud to lead the way with our impactful initiatives."

The college organized several voter education events such as a Dane County Executive candidate forum and voter registration drives that drew student interest and media coverage. Additionally, a Vote Early Day Celebration was held at the Truax and Goodman South campuses featuring food and entertainment. This event was supported by the Students Learn Students Vote Coalition.

Another significant initiative was “Campfire Conversations,” which encouraged civil discourse crucial for a healthy democracy. Due to positive feedback from students, more sessions are planned for the spring semester.

The ALL IN Most Engaged Campuses for College Student Voting accolade honors institutions for their exceptional efforts in boosting nonpartisan student voter participation. Madison College is among 471 colleges recognized by ALL IN and has consistently received recognition since 2016 for its commitment to voter education.

Students participated actively in this fall's Madison College Voting Summit.
