MMSD is set to collaborate with SSM Health, Public Health Madison Dane County, GHC-SCW, and UW Health to host a vaccine clinic on February 8, 2025. The event will take place at the Holtzman Learning Center located at 333 Holtzman Road.

The clinic welcomes students aged five and above who meet specific criteria. Eligible participants include those who are uninsured, under 19 and either Alaskan Native or American Indian, have BadgerCare from any carrier, or are insured by Dean, GHC-SCW, or Quartz.

Vaccines required by the Wisconsin Student Immunization Law will be available. These include DTaP, Polio, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, and Tdap—which is now a requirement for seventh graders. Additionally, Covid-19, Influenza, Hepatitis A, and HPV vaccines will be offered. While these additional vaccines are not mandated by state law, they come highly recommended.

Participants in the MMSD clinic will not incur out-of-pocket expenses; however, those with insurance should bring their insurance card to the clinic.

Attendees are advised to bring their child's immunization record. This can be accessed through healthcare providers or via the Wisconsin Immunization Registry. Alternatively, parents can log into the Infinite Campus Parent Portal to view records on file with MMSD.

Completed consent and screening forms are also necessary for participation. Hard copies of these forms will be available at the clinics.
