Madison College is set to host a STEM Open House on Tuesday, March 11, providing an opportunity for prospective students to explore various career and educational paths in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Madison College Truax Campus.

The open house aims to showcase the diverse programs available at Madison College, including computer science, information technology, civil engineering, and industrial technology. Attendees can learn about careers such as cybersecurity specialist, mechanical designer, electronics technician, or HVAC technician.

Participants will have the chance to engage in hands-on activities and tours of the college's facilities while networking with faculty and fellow students. A notable feature of the event includes taking selfies with R2-D2 and enjoying complimentary snacks and giveaways.

Madison College emphasizes its commitment to affordable education by offering NSF S-STEM scholarships that provide up to $5,000 per semester for up to six semesters. These scholarships are designed to help cover tuition costs for associate degrees in STEM fields.
