Brandon Rounds Director of Partnerships + Events | Fitchburg Chamber of Commerce
The Madison Association of Plumbing Contractors (MAPC) has announced the appointment of new board members. Chris Behrendt, P.E., General Manager at J. F. Ahern Co., has been appointed as MAPC President. Tory Miller, P.E., Vice President of 1901 Inc., will serve as MAPC Vice President, and Anthony Statz, Plumbing Department Manager at Hooper Corporation, will take on the role of MAPC Secretary/Treasurer. This announcement was made by Executive Director Julie Walsh on Tuesday.
Chris Behrendt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and brings over 20 years of experience in the construction industry to his new role. He has served as General Manager at J. F. Ahern Co. for four years and has been with the company for nearly two decades.
Tory Miller also has more than 20 years of experience in the construction field. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a Construction Emphasis from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville. Miller joined 1901 Inc. as a Project Manager in December 2018 and was promoted to Vice President in January 2020.
Anthony Statz is a Journeyman Plumber who joined Hooper Corporation as a Plumbing Foreman in April 2012. Over time, he advanced to roles such as General Superintendent and Project Manager before becoming a Department Manager. Statz contributes nearly 20 years of plumbing expertise to the MAPC Board.
The newly appointed board members will serve two-year terms overseeing this non-profit organization dedicated to promoting professionalism, safety, and productivity within construction services through education, labor relations, public relations, and government affairs.
