Madison Area Mechanical & Sheet Metal Contractors Association (MSC) has announced new appointments to its board. Rob Weise, Vice President of Hooper Corporation, has been named MSC President. Danny Johnson, Regional Operations Manager at The Waldinger Corporation, will serve as MSC Vice President. Tim Olstad, Operations Manager at 1901 Inc., is appointed as MSC Secretary/Treasurer. These appointments were confirmed by Executive Director Julie Walsh.
Weise holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and joined Hooper Corporation’s General Heating and Air Conditioning in 2013. His career includes over 20 years managing projects for General Contractors, with his current role starting in 2021. Weise was recognized as “Project Manager of the Year” in 2012 and included in InBusiness Magazine’s “40 under 40” list in 2010.
Johnson graduated from Montana Technological University with an Associate Degree in Computer Technology. He began working at The Waldinger Corporation as a Project Manager in May 2022 and became Regional Operations Manager by January 2024. Before this, he spent nearly a decade with Air Temperature Services, Inc.
Olstad brings over two decades of industry experience, starting as a Journeyman Steamfitter before moving into Project Management. His role involves overseeing large-scale projects and optimizing operational processes at 1901 Inc., where he has worked for 15 years.
The MSC Board Members hold their positions for two-year terms and oversee the non-profit organization’s efforts to enhance professionalism, safety, and productivity through education and various relations.
