The Center has successfully reached its ambitious capital campaign goal of $31 million, ensuring a debt-free status for the institution. This milestone was achieved with significant support from the community and major contributors.

This announcement coincides with Juneteenth, a day that celebrates freedom and strength within the Black community. The Center acknowledges the crucial role played by over 300 Black community members whose early donations inspired more than 1,200 individuals, families, companies, and foundations to contribute.

Key contributions included Summit Credit Union's $2 million donation presented by President & CEO Kim Sponem at the campaign's inception in late 2021. Ascendium also made substantial contributions with an initial donation followed by an additional $626,000 during the final phase of fundraising.

These efforts have been pivotal in securing financial stability for The Center. The organization expressed deep gratitude to all supporters who believed in their mission and contributed to this historic achievement.
