Are you interested in working with children and sharing the Spanish language and Latino culture? The Midwest Mujeres Spanish Story Time Training Program is seeking Spanish speakers to present story time programs for young children at Dane County public libraries. Those with bicultural heritage are preferred.

Participants will partner with Ricardo Marroquin of Dane County Library Service after completing initial training. The apprenticeship involves three phases: observation, co-presenting, and solo presenting, all with support and feedback.

Upon completion, participants receive a certificate. Beyond the Page will help connect graduates with opportunities in Dane County public libraries, but the program can be presented elsewhere as well.

The application process includes answering questions in a Google Form and submitting a video reading or singing a children's story or song in Spanish.
