Phil Asbury has been appointed as the executive director of the Office of Student Financial Aid at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, effective December 1. Asbury brings over 30 years of experience in financial aid from various institutions, including Northwestern University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Jeff Galligan, Madison College’s TRIO Program Director, reflected on his undergraduate days when he saw study abroad posters but did not see anyone like himself represented.
