Cost of college went up for all students at the Aveda Institute-Madison

Tuition and fees rose 4.7 percent for 2018-19 at the Aveda Institute-Madison, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Wisconsin students paid $18,325 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $825 more than the $17,500 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 60 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 15 students received grants or scholarships totaling $70,228 and 25 students took out student loans totaling more than $228,115.

Including all undergraduates (102), 52 students used grants or scholarships totaling $266,463, and 92 students took out $743,248 in federal student loans.
