46 burglaries reported on University of Wisconsin-Madison campus in 2017

There were 46 on-campus burglaries in 2017 on the campus of University of Wisconsin-Madison, located in Madison, according to the most recent crime statistics available on the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) website.

In 2016, there were 34 burglaries on the campus; and in 2015, there were 31 burglaries. Overall, in the three year period from 2015 through 2017, 34 percent of on-campus burglaries happened in residence halls. The following table shows how many of these on-campus criminal offenses were committed in residence halls:
