Census Bureau: 79.4 percent of people in Dane County were old enough to vote in 2019

Of the 536,078 citizens living in Dane County in 2019, 425,837 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 215,879 of those people were female and 209,958 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
