MADISON AREA TECHNICAL COLLEGE: Scholars of Promise application deadline coming up fast

Madison Area Technical College issued the following announcement on June 13.

Madison College's Scholars of Promise program has reopened its application process for 2020 high school graduates who didn’t attend college because they were impacted by COVID-19. Scholars of Promise pays for tuition gaps not covered by financial aid.

Applicants must answer "yes" to all of the following questions:

  • Did you not attend college since graduating high school
  • Was your high school cumulative GPA at least 2.25? 
  • Do you qualify as low-income?
Then take these steps:

  • Apply to the Madison College Scholars of Promise program by June 30, 2021
  • Apply to a Madison College degree program
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Madison College federal school code: 004007
