There were 3,539 students enrolled in Monona Grove School District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 0.3% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51.7% of them were boys, and 0% were girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 79.2% of the Monona Grove School District total enrollment.

Monona Grove School District covers seven schools within Dane County, with its main office in Monona.

Among the seven schools in the Monona Grove School District, Monona Grove High School recorded the highest enrollment of 1,083 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Nearly 830,000 students were enrolled in Wisconsin schools in the 2021-22 school year. This is a 0.85% decrease from the year before. In sharp contrast to declining public school figures, enrollment in charter schools rose 4.5% to more than 52,000.
