Dr. Sylvia Ramirez, the Executive Vice President of Finance & Administration at Madison College, has been named a finalist in the In Business CFO of the Year Award. The award recognizes top financial professionals for their contributions to their organization's growth, vitality, and future.
Ramirez has held various leadership roles at Madison College, starting as the Budget Director and eventually assuming the position of Executive Vice President of Finance & Administration in 2023. She has been committed to serving the students and district of Madison College since 2014.
Ramirez holds a B.A. in English from the University of Florida, a master's degree from UW-Madison's La Follette School for Public Affairs, and a Ph.D. from UW-Madison's Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis program.
The winners will be announced at the July 11 awards ceremony and featured in the August issue of In Business magazine.
