Recently, seventh-grade students from Kromrey Middle School and Glacier Creek Middle School participated in the 2024 Future Quest event at the Alliant Energy Center. This annual event is organized by the Dane County School Consortium and attracts over 5,000 students from across Wisconsin.

Future Quest offers an interactive platform for young students to explore various career paths and connect with industry professionals. Many participating organizations are affiliated with the Youth Apprenticeship Program, which students can join in high school.

The event included organizations from a wide range of industries such as healthcare, education, hospitality, finance, agriculture, and marketing. Students engaged in hands-on activities and personal interactions to gain insights into different fields. This exposure helps them consider how their interests might lead to fulfilling careers after high school.

Future Quest serves as a significant opportunity for students to develop a passion for learning and start planning their future career paths.
