Stoughton Hospital has been recognized by the Women’s Choice Award as one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Patient Experience and one of America’s Best Hospitals for Outpatient Experience. The Women’s Choice Award is a respected source for healthcare referrals in the United States.
The Patient Experience Award indicates that Stoughton Hospital is ranked among the top 100 hospitals of similar size, based on bed numbers, and meets high standards for patient experience in the country. Stoughton Hospital placed 18th out of 957 in the small hospital category.
For the Outpatient Experience award, hospitals must be accredited by organizations such as the Joint Commission (JC), The Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP), or Det Norske Veritas Healthcare (DNV). Stoughton Hospital is among 300 recipients who meet top outpatient experience standards nationwide, placing it in the top two percent out of 4,675 hospitals. The Outpatient Experience covers areas like specialty clinics, rehab services, medical imaging, and breast care services.
“We are grateful to be designated as one of America’s Best Hospitals for Patient and Outpatient Experience. Women make the majority of healthcare decisions for their families so earning their trust means a great deal to us,” stated Amy Hermes, Vice President of Patient Services and Chief Nursing Officer at Stoughton Health.
