On March 26, 2025, Rep. Pocan expressed his disapproval of a decision involving former President Donald Trump and Elon Musk. He stated that they "froze funding to our local Ice Age Trail," describing the action as "absolutely unacceptable." He assured his followers that he would continue advocating for those who appreciate the trail. "BREAKING: Trump and Musk froze funding to our local Ice Age Trail."

Later that day, Pocan highlighted an initiative he led concerning the United States Postal Service (USPS). He mentioned leading a letter signed by 73 colleagues urging the Deputy Postmaster General to reconsider a decision affecting USPS workers. The plan involved cutting 10,000 jobs, which Pocan argued would have severe impacts on millions of Americans, especially in rural areas where postal services are already declining. According to Pocan's statement, Hegseth allegedly shared classified war plans in an unsecured group chat that included a reporter. The information reportedly covered details such as attack timings and drone strike targets.
