The meeting continued with a recognition segment, where Megan Sipiorski from Middleton High School was praised for receiving the 2025 Wisconsin High School Social Studies Teacher of the Year award from the Wisconsin Council for the Social Studies. "Megan’s innovative Legislative Semester program gives students a hands-on experience in how government works," noted the program’s impact on educational engagement. Principal Peg Shoemaker and WCSS President Sarah Kopplin commended her teaching methods and classroom environment.
Superintendent Dr. Dana Monogue presented her report, congratulating the cast of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" and highlighting the district’s Years of Service celebration, acknowledging 190 dedicated staff members.
