The Sunburst Sparkler beverage line, a collaboration between the Wisconsin Union and Karben4, has added two new flavors, increasing its offerings. The new varieties, Kiwi Berry Bang and Raspberry Ginger Rush, have joined the original lineup of fruit-infused, caffeinated sparkling beverages.

Kiwi Berry Bang combines strawberry, kiwi, and guava juice with tea-derived caffeine, offering a tropical taste. Raspberry Ginger Rush blends raspberry, ginger, and a hint of lime. These beverages, like the original four flavors, contain no added sweeteners, natural caffeine, and feature real fruit juice as the only source of sweetness. They are currently available for $3.69 per can at Wisconsin Union-run dining locations.

Carl Korz, the associate director for dining and hospitality services at Wisconsin Union, stated, “We’re excited to expand the Sunburst Sparkler line with two new flavors of our locally created, naturally caffeinated energy drinks. This is such an incredible alternative to the artificially flavored energy drinks out there. You’re still getting a sustained burst of energy but without added sweeteners like stevia or hard-to-pronounce chemicals and additives.”

In addition to Sunburst Sparkler, the Wisconsin Union collaborates with Karben4 on Terrace Lemonade and Terrace Strawberry Lemonade and with Bucky’s Varsity Meats on Wisconsin Union Beef Snack Sticks. The Union offers these products and merchandise at its Badger Markets.

Purchases support the Wisconsin Union's nonprofit efforts to provide free and low-cost events, community spaces, and student opportunities. The Union’s mission includes enhancing student leadership and community engagement.

For further details about the products, patrons can visit Wisconsin Union's locations or its online platform.
