Madison College has formed a new partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Stout aimed at fostering student success in criminal justice careers. Through this collaboration, an articulation agreement has been established, allowing Madison College students who have completed an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice Studies to receive at least 60 credits when entering the University of Wisconsin-Stout's Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Rehabilitation program. This will enable them to join the program at the junior level.

The agreement is designed to facilitate the transfer process for students and reinforces the existing relationship between Madison College and UW-Stout. These institutions have previously implemented articulation agreements in fields such as early education, IT, cybersecurity, science, math, and technology to offer expanded higher education opportunities.

Each year, many students begin their path toward a bachelor's degree at Madison College, where they can benefit from lower tuition costs, smaller class sizes, and dedicated advising before transitioning to a four-year university. Students seeking additional information can access details on the Madison College Transfer Programs web page.
