During visits at various schools in Wisconsin to welcome students back for in-person fall learning, Gov. Tony Evers answered a wide range of questions from curious children.
The trip by the governor was to see how children are doing back in classrooms.
"It was great to welcome students around our state back to school last week," Evers said in a post on Twitter. "Harry Potter to aliens, the students at Granite Ridge Elementary had some hard hitting questions!"

Currently, K-12 students and staff are wearing masks per CDC recommendations, according the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
The reasoning for masks given by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services guidance on its website, is because K-12 schools are settings "with high mixing of vaccinated and unvaccinated people because COVID-19 vaccines are not available to children under 12."
But the guidance says that this shouldn't stop children from returning to classrooms safely.
"Children should return to full-time in-person learning in the fall with layered prevention strategies in place," according to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services website.
