Madison College's Center for Entrepreneurship will host an Entrepreneur Networking Event at the Madison Forward Festival on Wednesday, Aug. 21, at the Madison College Truax Campus.
The event will feature Bing Liang, founder and president of US University Pathways and a participant in Wisconsin’s Project Pitch It, alongside successful alumni from Madison College's "Challenge" Business Competition. The panel discussion, which begins at 11:30 a.m., aims to provide valuable insights and practical advice for aspiring entrepreneurs.
"This informal drop-in event offers a prime opportunity to gain knowledge, network with peers, and access resources to find success in your ventures," said Shana LaFore, Director of Madison College Center for Entrepreneurship. "We are thrilled to host this event and bring together the entrepreneurial community in Madison. Established in 2016, the Madison College Center for Entrepreneurship is dedicated to strengthening communities through entrepreneurial education, innovation, and collaboration. The center provides workshops, coaching, business competitions, and various resources to support new and existing businesses with a focus on serving women and minority entrepreneurs.
Bing Liang will share highlights from his entrepreneurial journey during the panel discussion on Aug. 21.
