Rep. Lisa Subeck released a statement on June 24, 2024, addressing recent developments regarding election integrity and absentee voting in Wisconsin.
“After years of attempts by Donald Trump and Republicans to cast doubt on election results through unfounded allegations and wild speculation, coupled with efforts to gain an advantage in Wisconsin by limiting absentee voting and suppressing the votes of many Wisconsinites, this decision is a significant victory for voters and for our democracy," Subeck stated.
She emphasized the importance of absentee ballot drop boxes, describing them as "a secure, easy, and accessible way to ensure every eligible voter has the opportunity to exercise their fundamental right to vote.”
Rep. Subeck has represented the 78th Assembly District since 2015 and currently serves as Chair of the Assembly Democratic Caucus.
