Madison College invites the public to an exhibition featuring stories and images from its first-ever study abroad experience in Africa. The exhibit, titled "Reflections from Kenya," showcases photographs and narratives shared by students, staff, and faculty who participated in the program.
The display includes wildlife photography that highlights the animals and birdlife found in Kenya's lush landscapes and the Maasai Mara. Madison College offers a variety of study abroad programs ranging from 10 to 14 days to a full semester. These programs aim to help students discover new skills and gain global awareness.
The Kenya program received partial funding from the U.S. Department of State through the Increase and Diversify Education Abroad for U.S. Students (IDEAS) grant, which encourages participation from underrepresented students in international education experiences.
