The drop-off sites at 4602 Sycamore Avenue and 402 South Point Road are transitioning to winter hours starting Friday, December 6, 2024. On this final day of "expanded" hours, the sites will operate from 7:30 am until 2:45 pm.

Following this date, the Sycamore and South Point locations will not be available on weekends or evenings as they commence their winter schedule. Specifically, these sites will close every Saturday throughout the winter season and will not open during evening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Weekend and evening operations at these drop-off sites are set to resume in spring 2025, with an exact date for the return of these extended hours yet to be announced.

Additionally, the drop-off site located at 121 E. Olin Avenue is closed for the winter. It is scheduled to reopen in spring 2025, with a precise reopening date also pending announcement.

Residents planning to use any drop-off site are advised to verify operating hours before visiting. The latest information on hours can be accessed through the city's website at www.cityofmadison.com/DropOffSites.
