State Senator Julian Bradley | Wisconsin State Legislature
As a member of the Senate Committee on Government Operations, Senator Julian Bradley voted against the passage of AB 438 and AB 439. He expressed his concerns regarding the proposed legislation in a statement.
"While the amendment makes some improvements to the bill, it does not meet the expectations of my constituents. The Brewers' contribution falls short of their equity stake, and the burden on taxpayers is too high for me to support it," Bradley stated.
He emphasized that feedback from his constituents was crucial in shaping his decision. "From my 10 listening sessions across the 28th Senate District this year, along with the hundreds of surveys submitted, and the conversations I've had around the district, it's clear that my constituents would welcome a deal but only if each side contributes their fair share."
Bradley concluded by reaffirming his commitment to prioritizing his constituents' interests. "As always, my priority is to put the people of the 28th Senate District first. Unfortunately, this deal currently falls short of meeting their expectations."
