Plans are underway for staffing classrooms in the upcoming school year at the Sun Prairie Area School District. Families who have recently moved to Sun Prairie are encouraged to enroll their children as soon as possible for the 2025–2026 school year. For incoming kindergartners, there is a straightforward procedure for transferring students from 4-year-old Kindergarten (SP4K) to 5-year-old Kindergarten for the next academic year. Children currently enrolled in SP4K will automatically be placed in kindergarten at their designated elementary school based on their home address. Parents whose children do not attend a Sun Prairie 4K site but plan to enroll them in kindergarten should proceed with enrollment now.
