Middleton High School students are participating in the Stock Market Game, a 12-week simulation that teaches investment skills. This initiative is supported by Wells Fargo and involves mentorship from 100 Black Men of Madison.

The team consists of seniors Noah Duckett, Wyatt Ehrhardt, and Oubedatou Ezoula. They are among 144 teams nationwide competing in this event. The students receive guidance from mentors including Ernest Allen, who also coaches Track and Field at Middleton High School.

Participants start with a virtual $100,000 to invest, aiming to maximize portfolio returns through collaboration with their mentors. Middleton High School's team has consistently ranked first for several weeks, reaching over $110,000 in Week 5.

This competition not only prepares students for financial management but also fosters strong mentor-student relationships. The winning team will have the opportunity to ring the bell at the New York Stock Exchange and present at a national conference.
