Sun Prairie Utilities (SPU) and the Sun Prairie Area School District (SPASD) are collaborating on a project to construct a city well and an outdoor classroom at Sun Prairie East. The new well is intended to help the city accommodate future water demands, particularly as growth is anticipated in the area surrounding the school.
In addition to the well, SPU and SPASD plan to build a pavilion and outdoor classroom space. This facility could serve educational purposes, such as prairie restoration activities. The partnership highlights how the city and the district are working together for community benefit.
