Today marks the beginning of the absentee voting process for hospitalized voters. This service will be available until 5 p.m. on Election Day, which falls on Tuesday, April 1.

Hospitalized voters can participate by appointing an agent to request a hospitalized absentee ballot on their behalf. The appointed agent must deliver the absentee request to the Clerk’s Office, presenting both their own identification and a copy of the voter's ID. In cases where the voter needs to register or update their registration details, the agent is required to submit a voter registration application along with proof of address to the Clerk’s Office.

Once these steps are completed, the agent delivers the ballot directly to the voter at the hospital. After marking their ballot and completing the certificate envelope, it is then returned by the agent to the Clerk’s Office. All submitted absentee ballots will be sent to polling stations for counting on Election Day.
