Payne and Dolan will commence resurfacing work on Old Sauk Road near the Beltline starting Wednesday, July 17, continuing through August 5. The project will be executed in two phases.

Throughout the entire project, contractors will maintain one lane of traffic open at all times within the construction zone.

The southbound exit ramp from the Beltline onto Old Sauk Road will close the southbound left turn lane onto eastbound Old Sauk Road for the duration of the project. Westbound traffic will not be able to turn left from Old Sauk Road onto the southbound Beltline during this period. The northbound entrance ramp from Old Sauk Road onto the Beltline and the northbound exit ramp from the Beltline onto Old Sauk Road will remain unaffected by this project.

Phase 1:

The project begins under the southbound lanes of the Beltline and continues through the exit and entrance ramp intersection to the west. Lane closures will extend east of the Beltline and west to Excelsior Drive. Payne and Dolan will concentrate on resurfacing interior traffic lanes while outer lanes are designated for through traffic. Eastbound traffic can still turn right onto the southbound Beltline ramp.

Phase 2:

Resurfacing work for Phase 2 is scheduled to begin on August 5 and conclude by August 21. During this phase, Payne and Dolan will focus on outer lanes of traffic, keeping inner lanes open for through traffic. However, eastbound traffic will not be able to turn right from Old Sauk Road onto the southbound Beltline.
